Newly married Pete and Ashlee Wentz have already announced thar they are expecting their first child.

The news doesn’t really come as a shock to anyone but Ashlee used, Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete’s band website to make the announcement – using her newly acquired second name.
The couple said, “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child.
This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

Publicity hungry - they are apparently looking to start their own series of the popular MTV program Newlyweds.

A source close to the couple claimed they are “shopping it around TV stations” showing “already filmed footage”.

Whether I would be any match for Jessica Simpson’s (Ashlee’s older sibling) only time could tell, but it’ll be likely to have lots of cameos from members of the rock scene to help boost the ratings.

Is it just me that thinks that it’s a bit insane to get married, be pregnant, and then show the whole world every detail of your private life? How long before we get a celebrity live birth program?

Hollywood silver fox, George Clooney has apparently split up with Sarah Lawson after nearly a year of dating.

George has reportedly left his LA home, while Sarah went in to remove her belongings.

A source close to the women’s favorite said, “The truth is that they had little in common and he just doesn’t want to be tied down.”

The couple met each other last year when George met the 29-year-old cocktail waitress at a bar in Las Vegas,

The pair then made several public appearances together, including this years Oscars – the first time George had ever brought a date before.

Early reports of an engagement were shot down by The ex-ER doctor, who is well known for his bachelor lifestyle.

A spokesperson said: “We have never commented on George’s personal life.”

So, we’ll give it 3 months before we either get a sex tape, or they get back together.

John Lydon of Sex Pistols fame wants to write a song for washed-up-has-been Britney Spears.

Better known as Johnny Rotten, Lydon believes he and the troubled pop star could make beautiful music together – regardless of their wildly different music styles.

One of the figure heads of the original British punk-rock scene in the 70s spoke about Britney today in an interview, “She has been hurt. And hurt is the root core essence of good music. I haven’t written a song for Britney yet but I would love to. I’d like to help out because there’s a girl who needs some help.”

In the meantime, Britney has made her first appearance in a while at the 50th birthday party of fashion guru Christian Audigier, accompanied by her dad Jamie and her reported new boyfriend Jason Trewick.

Former Destiny’s Child singer and wife of rapper Jay-Z Beyonce Knowles has been tipped to beat stick-thin mess Amy Winehouse in the battle to record the new James bond theme song for Quantum of Solace.

Music industry insiders claim that Beyonce, 26, is the film maker’s favourite after Winehouse, 24, started her, seemingly endless, downward spiral.

Mark Ronson, Amy’s producer, pulled the plug on the recording session for the theme due to her erratic behaviour.

He said: “We did work on it but we never finished it. I don’t think it will happen unless by some miracle it gets recorded and someone sings vocals.“I’m not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet.”

The drug-addled walking hair-do Winehouse was pretty livid about his comments but they made up at the Ivor Novello awards, with Amy claiming, “I’ve done loads of Bond songs I’m really happy with. I don’t know what the problem is.”

Her third album is on hold at the moment as her label wants her to clean up her act before they will release it. They are also holding her in her contract so she can’t make music for any other labels.

The choice is up to the late Bond producer Cubby’s daughter, Barbara Broccoli. If she gives the go ahead to Beyonce then she will likely start writing with British songwriter Amanda Ghost – who is currently writing songs for Beyonce’s next album, as well as Shakira’s new one.

R&B singer Mariah Carey has got upset about reports circulating that suggest her newly slender figure is the result of plastic surgery. The diva insists that her weight loss is down to a good diet and plenty of exercise.

She revealed the new look earlier this year as she released her eleventh studio album, E=MC2, which sparked the speculation that she’d gone under a surgeon’s knife to shed a massive 32 pounds.

Mariah, 38, is adamant that it was an all natural method of weight loss that helped her lose the unwanted poundage.

When questioned regarding her spectacular weight loss she said,

“I know the UK is freaking out that I had some crazy plastic surgery done, but… honestly, it’s working out and diet. Look at what I’m eating right now: olives!

“It makes me upset that people think I’ve had surgery, ’cause let’s discuss how annoying the dieting process was. My girls will eat really good fried food, and I also love sweet plantain and rice and peas, but I can’t eat it! If I eat it, it’s small!”

Being a rich, good looking celebrity with hundreds of little minions running around doing everything for you must be tough. Well super model nutcase Naomi Campbell seems to think so.

Celebrating your 38th birthday at Cannes is a tough job but you know someone has to do it. Turning up at her birthday party thrown by buddies Dolce and Gabbana all glitz, glamour and smiles Naomi looked to be having a great time, but when the party moved to rapper P Diddy’s boat at around 3am, she was seen running to her car with tear’s streaming down her face.

Campbell and Diddy have fallen out before. Like at Jermaine Dupri’s Grammy after party in LA when the Diddster shouted at Naomi in the middle of the party and got her all upset.

So far no-one knows why she had a tantrum, but I think it’s easy to suggest that the copious amounts of alcohol consumed during the party had something to do with it or maybe P Diddy tried rapping to her – it’d make me cry too.

To be honest, in a New York minute, no one will care anymore. So from me to Naomi: “Dry your eyes and get a grip of yourself luv”.

All this has made Miley the paparazzi’s main target. According to reports Briteny Spear’s has around half a dozen trailing her around but Miley has over 30. How long will it be before she get’s married for 12 hours, shaves her head and run’s over a photographer? Well she’s already got the ball rolling with a photoshoot with Vanity Fair where she posed topless under a blanket – which as you can imagine caused outrage amonst the parents of America.

Despite approving the shoot, Miley has since apologised and hinted that she was tricked in to the shoot: “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she said in a statement. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologise to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

The new ‘all grown-up’ image has already attracted Playboy boss Hugh Hefner who invited the star to pose in his magazine when she turns 18. “She would be welcomed in the magazine. She’s a very pretty lady,” he said.  

The ‘lets try make Miley breakdown before her sixteenth birthday’ bandwagon is in full effect now and the star herself is making matters worse by defending out-of-control stars like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. “Basically, they’re being normal 21-year-olds, especially Lindsay Lohan,” she said recently. “I mean, most of that’s pretty normal.”

Former child star Paul Petersen (one of the original Mousketeers), who now runs a support group for child stars, says he believes a Miley Cyrus meltdown is inevitable: “I fear that since this path has been trodden so many times, that unless someone takes aggressive, active steps with her – I’m talking serious intervention – that we’re going to watch yet another meltdown.”

All I can say is good luck Miley, you are going to need a hell of a lot of it to get through your teenage years unscathed.

The 64 page book is ‘cleverly’ titled Get Healthy With Heather and will offer health tips on how to combat stress.

The best thing for combating stress I think would to be to not EVER read/lay eyes on this poor excuse for a help book, as it comes from a self-absorbed wretch of a woman who has no shame and will do anything to make a quick buck. Heather, didn’t you get enough already?

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP) claims she’s not a slave to fashion like her character Carrie Bradshaw.

In an interview, after the Berlin premiere of her upcoming movie, the 43-year-old actress said, “I am a mother, wife and working woman in the first place, clothes do not play such a big role in my life than they do in Carrie’s.

“And there is no favorite designer or accessory as there is Manolo Blahnik for Carrie — there are so many talented and exciting designers, I could not possibly choose one favorite.”

The Berlin premiere came about due to the enthusiastic fan-base of the HBO series in Europe – much to the chagrin of some of the star’s who believed it should have taken place in New York (where the movie takes place). The series ran from 1998 to 2004 and broke many barriers. Joining Parker on the red carpet Thursday night were co-stars Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

The movie begins in the present, with the characters older and more thoughtful than their younger selves. Carrie, now in her early 40s, is a contributing editor to Vogue and a best-selling writer. She’s got more money, and she’s also got Mr. Big (Chris Noth), her longtime love.

Talking about how the movie got off the ground, SJP said: “It took me a year and a half to put this movie back together again,

“I never in a million years thought I could. Our goal was to get the four women on that set. Lo and behold, we did and it was thrilling.”

“People are gonna be stunned, floored and happy,” the actress said of the plot. “They’re gonna be happy, surprised, feel a lot of sadness, and hopefully understand what it is that’s happened in Carrie’s life.”

With the plot of the film still under wraps, fans will have to wait until the movie opens to find out if Carrie ends up in wedded bliss with her man, Mr. Big. But Parker did reveal that fans should expect a grown-up movie.

The film was directed by Michael Patrick King and is bout finding ‘the happy ending’ – but apparently has some surprising twists. When asked about a sequel, SJP replied: “We have not discussed this.” “Sex and the City” opens May 30 in the U.S

Gwyneth Paltrow has been hitting the headlines recently because of her various red carpet appearances wearing a short skirt and stilettos. The press coverage of this is fascinating, with journalists debating about the state of her marriage simply because she’s chosen to step out at each event in sky-high heels.

So what’s all the fuss about? I put it down to the fact that the shoes she’s been wearing are so impractical. She looks great in her poses for the photographers but I bet her feet were really killing her. Why put yourself through the agony of it all I hear you ask? Well, it’s simply because the most wonderful looking shoes are extremely uncomfortable.

The cute little ballerina pumps that everyone is wearing may feel like slippers, but unless you’ve got the legs of a racehorse, they will make you look dumpy.
There’s something about a three-inch heel that elongates the calf and adds a wiggle to your walk. It’s a simple fact of life that when you slip into a pair of elegant stilettos you become a goddess, slip on a pair of Crocs or flip flops and you become anything but.

As little girls we were always told the story of Cinderella and her beautiful glass slipper. I doubt that prince charming would have been so keen to find her had she left one of her Ugg boots behind!
There’s even more good news for those of us who love high heels. They may actually be good for your health and your sex life. Italian Eurologist, Dr Maria Cerruto, has undertaken a recent study of 66 women under 50. She found that those who held their foot at a 15 degree angle to the ground - the equivalent of a two inch heel - had as good posture as those who wore flat shoes, and crucially showed less electrical activity in their pelvic muscles.
This suggested the muscles were at an optimum position, which could well improve their strength and ability to contract.

So if high heels can indeed make us look and feel better, how on earth do you walk in them, especially if you live in an area where there are hills and uneven pavements?

Here is my essential guide to walking in high heels:

1. Image an invisible string running through your head down to the base of your spine. Envisage that someone is pulling the string upwards so that you keep your weight back, back straight and head up to stay balanced.
2. When you walk, step with your heel first then roll onto the ball of your foot.
3. Use small steps rather than striding forward.
4. Never forget how gorgeous you look and this will help you push on through the pain barrier!
