Britney Spears admitted on her MTV documentary that she gets lonely and says she wants to be married in five years with more kids. And a great way for her to achieve this would of course be for her to start dating again, and not ‘doing a Britney’ again and getting married to the nearest guy… Apparently the pop star and Paris Hilton’s ex, Benji Madden, are secretly dating!

Good Charlotte musician Benji Madden and Britney have hooked up after his recent split from celebrity heiress Paris Hilton. The pair have been on a few dates and on one they met once at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills for dinner in a hotel suite. According to people who saw them dining there, Britney appears to be very into Benji, and he seemed to be acting the same towards her. 

The only problem for Britney now is any relationship she has needs to get the seal of approval from her father, as he doesnt want her to ruin all the hard work gone into getting her back onto the right track. But according to reports, he’s the one who wanted to set them up!

Jamie - Britneys Dad, asked Brit’s manager Larry Rudolph to create a list of potential boyfriends for his daughter to date. Besides Benji, the list included Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, actor Jesse Metcalf and Michael Phelps.

Larry made some phone calls and Benji ended up being the most interested in being fixed up. There may even be an announcement about their dating - to help promote her new album and spring tour of course! Its all about the publicity! 

Brit’s manager wants to “make a big, splashy announcement to help publicize her upcoming tour.” Her Dad has helped her through her recent tough times but surely there is no need for her Dad to help arranges dates and call the shots about marriage and more children!

Are Nicole Richie and Joel Madden giving their baby a sibling?  They have one daughter, Harlow Winter, who will turn one in the new year and the couple would love to expand their family.  Is there a surprise for baby Harlow coming up?

Nicole has previously said that she hoped for three girls and twin boys, and when she was asked if she would ever adopt she said she would definitely consider it as she is adopted. However, boyfriend Joel would have preferred to have another biological child before adopting but he’s since changed his mind.

Joel said, “I’m definitely not against adopting. I went to Central African Republic and fell in love with the place. If I was going to adopt it would probably be from there. Nicole and I are very happy and eventually we’d love to have more kids, especially if they can all be as easy and wonderful as Harlow!”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed their baby girl Harlow 11 months ago, and Nicole says that her daughter is turning into a style icon already.  Baby Harlow loves dressing up and really loves tights!

“She likes to dress up. You can see it in her face. She just loves dressing up; she loves putting on tights and bows and stuff like that. I’m not too caught up in her fashion at the moment. I just let her wear what’s comfortable for her. But she loves those tights.”

Katie Holmes celebrated her 30th birthday on Thursday, December 18 and husband Tom Cruise said he had something special planned. What did he surprise her with?

Katie first went to The Baryshnikov Arts Center by herself, then was picked up by her bodyguard and daughter Suri. The mother-daughter duo then went to an Upper East Side bakery and returned home to their Soho apartment after running a few errands.

Later on in the evening Katie Holmes performed her Broadway show ’All My Sons’ and that’s where Cruise surprised her with a specially-made birthday cake. As the curtain fell, the cast and crew presented her with the five-tiered, white-frosted, circular cake and the crowed applauded and cheered.

It was announced, “Tom Cruise, our good friend, devoted fan to the show, doting husband of Katie, could not be here tonight. He’s heartsick that he couldn’t be here… but he wanted to make his presence felt. So,  he’s joining us, inviting all of you, to celebrate Katie’s birthday.”

Tom said: “I planned it so that when she comes out for the standing ovation, John get the whole audience to wish her a happy birthday.” He said that they celebrated privately the night before and “that was the big one.” 

Katie was reportedly surprised and she brought out 2-year-old Suri to help her blow out the birthday candles on the cake. The birthday girl said to the audience, “Thank you for coming out to the show tonight.  It was a real pleasure.”

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their big family of six kids are world-travelers but Brad would like them to settle down for a while, he has said he would like to lay down some roots for the sake of their children, so they can get used to a certain area and know what its like for one particular place to be ‘home’. 

The Jolie and Pitt family have decided they will make France their home for the foreseeable future. They’ve tracked many miles with making movies, attending premieres and other work committments. Brad said, “I’ve been dragging them all from continent to continent lately, so we’re going to have to give them a break soon.”

Brad also added: “For the long term, right now, we’re choosing France. It’s good living there, a really nice way of life. It’s a place where the kids can run free and not be hassled - we have a good relationship with the locals, and it’s a good base for the family.”

The whole family is learning to speak French and oldest son Maddox has attended classes at French schools in New Orleans, New York and Prague during visits to those places.

The young family have enjoyed traveling around for a while but have found it tiring trying to drag six young children around the world for the sake of work, i think the Jolie-Pitt family have made a good decision to settle in one area for a while.

Geri Halliwell isn’t specifically known for her good fashion sense, but i think we all thought she had far more taste than what she was wearing to the Children’s Bafta’s

There’s really not any public function where it’s a good time to have a wardrobe malfunction but it’s probably more horrifying if it’s at a children’s benefit event, where you would think most attendees would wear suitable and respectful clothing due to the amount of young children around… 

Geri Halliwell was looking demure in her frilly red dress and soft curls, however, when the former Spice Girl turned around, it was another story.  Do celebs not plan well to wear suitable undergarments - especially if they are going to have them on show!?

Geri was attending the Children’s Baftas which celebrates the best in children’s entertainment - everything from movies to video games - when she turned around, and her ‘assets’ were on display. Hopefully Geri noticed her faux pas before any of the kids got a peek at her bum. 

Geri has recently launched her career as a children’s author.  She has one daughter, 2-year-old Bluebell Madonna, who is an adorable tot, lets just hope she doesn’t pick up her mum’s fashion sense when she is older.

Madonna’s latest single she has released is her worst ever, including her performances when attempting to promote the new release. The single is called Miles Away and she has released it from her new album Hard Candy, the single entered the charts at number 39 and it has now disappeared without a trace, this has never happened to Madonna before and we are wondering is it because of how she has treated Guy Ritchie during their public divorce this past few months. 

This will be a massive blow for Madonna and it is not what she needs in her current situation, only managing to reach number 39 in the charts could be disastrous for her, as she is completely obsessed by her career and ensuring she is successful. 

Madonna is now reportedly worried that her divorce may of ruined her career, as this is he first time in her 24 year career that her single has not even made the top 20! 

Madonna’s previous lowest entry before Miles Away was a track called Oh Father which she recorded for a Estee Lauder perfume in 1996, and even this managed to get to number 16 in the charts… 

Lisa Snowdon has described the moment she clutched her chest when partner Brendan Cole stormed off Strictly Come Dancing as “mortifying.” Brendan stormed off the show and Lisa reaction to this was her grabbing her boobs in a ‘im not bothered anyway’ manner. 

The model and Capital Radio presenter, who was partnered with hot-headed Brendan on the BBC1 dance competition, named that moment as the most embarrassing of the series.

“Grabbing my boobs nervously a few weeks ago when Brendan stormed off. Mortifying!,” she said.

Lisa added that she would like to see her co-host Johnny Vaughan as a contestant on the next series, while fellow finalist Tom Chambers said he would like to Austin Healey - who got the Strictly boot a fortnight ago - back in the show.

Rachel Stevens joked that if she had won the competition she would sleep with the trophy on her pillow. But she came second to Tom Chambers in the final at the weekend, Rachel has said she has still fulfilled a childhood dream, but she has made a good friend in Vincent throughout their journey together.

Paris Hilton’s Los Angeles home was broken into this week, which has caused Paris to be afraid of coming back to her home alongside being upset about items that were taken during the robbery. 

A man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves broke into the hotel heiress’ home in the Hollywood Hills at around 5am one morning, and reportedly made off with around US 2 million dollars worth of jewellery and other items which Paris considers as special one off items which cannot be replaced. 

“At around 5 am, officers received a call from a security guard who reported that Paris Hilton’s residence had been broken into,” LAPD spokesperson Julianne Sohn said to media outlets.

“According to detectives, a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced entry through the front door, ransacked her bedroom, took items of jewellery and property and fled.”

Paris was not at home during the incident and an investigation is ongoing to find out exactly what was taken and who the intruder was.

Robbie Williams has dashed back to Britain this week to be with his mother as she underwent a major heart operation. The 34-year-old singer secretly flew from Los Angeles to be at his 67-year-old mum Jan’s side when she went into hospital for heart bypass surgery. 

Jan’s condition was reported as “critical but stable” a few hours after undergoing surgery.

Robbie who is close to his mum Jan - is not allowed visit her until she is out of intensive care. But he hopes to spend Christmas Day with Jan at the private Cheshire hospital.

A source said: “Like any patient who has undergone major heart surgery, Jan’s not out of the woods yet. She is in a critical but stable condition, but that’s normal for such a complex procedure.”

Jan is a drink and drugs counsellor who brought up Robbie as a single mum, and Robbie is understandably concerned for his mum as he understands that major surgery carries risks, Robbie wont be having an easy christmas this year but hopefully his Mum will make a full recovery especially with her son by her side throughout her ordeal.

Rachel Stevens has admitted she was in floods of tears after losing the Strictly Come Dancing final to Tom Chambers. Rachel who is a former S Club star made the final two of the show, but added she suspected fans’ favourite Tom would come out tops.

“Everything was too much. I bawled my eyes out, I was a blubbering wreck,” Rachel has said. “My mum said, ‘You’re a winner to me, I can’t tell you how well you’ve done, you’ve inspired me.’ But I did stand there just thinking: ‘Please say Rachel and Vincent.’”

Rachel has said she had a sixth sense Tom would do it and win the final, as he has a massive fanbase out there and people love him. She said she knew he was always going to do it, but to win would have been the icing on the cake for Rachel as she adores Vincent and would have loved to have won it for him.”

Rachel also revealed that her fiance Alex felt uncomfortable about the pair’s rumba performance.

“The rumba was by far my favourite dance, but it was difficult for Alex to watch,” Rachel said. “He has been amazing. It has not been easy for him. I can’t imagine how I would feel.”
