David Beckham is going to spend 10 weeks in Italy on loan to the AC Milan soccer club. And now it seems David will be appearing in Italy on the big reality show “Big Brother,” a worldwide franchise. It makes sense for David to appear on the Italian version of the show, as this is where the majority of his fan’s are based. 

“Beckham is very high profile,” says a source, “and to get him on Big Brother would be a ratings winner. All the high profile players are on light entertainment shows during the season.”

The AC Milan soccer club is owned by Italian Prime Minister and media mogul Silvio Berlusconi (who also happens to own “Grande Fratello” aka Big Brother). “Beckham will be expected to turn out on one program at least – almost certainly Grande Fratello.”

David is, of course, married to Victoria Beckham and together they have three children and the Beckham clan have recently returned to the UK for the holidays.

The couple were reportedly arguing about where to spend the holidays this year. Victoria wanted to stay in California and David wanted to return to England for a traditional holiday with the family.

It’s reported that Victoria wanted to have a Hollywood Christmas because she has had so many holidays in England and she wanted to send a message to American fans that they are happy here in the US.
