Simon Cowell is considering quitting TV

Simon Cowell is considering quitting his role as a judge on The X Factor, Simon is the creator of the show but said at the weekend he is considering giving up being a judge on shows like The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and American Idol, because he finds it too much work.

“I’m definitely not retiring. But I am going to make a couple of changes. The contracts are all up at the end of next year and what I may well do is stop actually being on TV. Give up the panel. The thing that gets me is the schedule. Every day of my week is filled for the next year. Being famous takes a lot and it’s something I never wanted. I’m a music business person.”

He’s become a huge star on both sides of the Atlantic and there’s no doubt that his presence would be missed if he did quit.
