Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly is overjoyed after revealing that her and Vernon are expecting their second child, its the news that Tess who is already a mum of one has been dying to hear for some time now. Tess who is 37 has always described herself as ‘incredibly broody’, had her first daughter Phoebe in 2004, has told her family and friends that she is pregnant again with her TV and radio presenter Vernon Kay.

Tess is due to give birth in June, which will give her the right amount of time to be able to host this years new series of strictly in September 2009. The happy couple have been married for six years and live in Buckinghamshire, have said they have wanted to expand their family for some time, Vernon said, “Tess and I would love more children… we have been practising.”

The couple were hoping to have another child shortly after the birth of their daughter Phoebe’s birth, Tess has said since the birth of Phoebe that she has been very ready to become a mother again, as it has changed her for the better. Vernon is especially happy saying he believes it is a fantastic gift that they are expecting again and they are overjoyed, and can’t wait for Phoebe to have a brother or sister to play with.

The rumours of Tess expecting again began to circulate when she appeared to have a tiny little bump visible beneath her dress during the Strictly Come Dancing final, Tess had receieved text messages from her friends asking her about her fuller figure, but desperate to keep the news a secret she replied saying, “No i am not pregnant, its just a fat belly, leave me alone!”.
