Jessica Simpson has spoken out about the criticism she has recently received by the press and her fans about her reported weight gain, she has brushed off the comment and says she will not let the nasty jibes get to her and she is more than happy with the way she looks. 

The singer and actress has been the subject of scrutiny since pictures of a fuller-figure Jessica circulated, but the gorgeous 28-year old has spoken about these pictures and has said she is perfectly happy with the way she is: ”Honestly, I am right where I’m supposed to be. I am so happy,” 

Last month, the singer appeared to break down in tears on stage following weeks of jibes about her weight, causing her to forget her words and appear very nervous in front of hundreds of fans, some of which later spoke about their concern for the star. 

Jessica spoke out at a concert on January 30, saying: “Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder. So just appreciate. I feel like in our world today, we focus on so many things that are completely pointless.”
