This raincoat is 6% wool, 23% polyamide and 12% cashmere, has a collared neck and one vent on the back, and costs £127.20. Dark purple and wine colours are on trend this AW15, and we think this particular trench looks very sophisticated, particularly when worn over a black outfit with black accessories. This raincoat is a good example of the superb value that can be found online. We think this mac looks very stylish with the black piping, and it should be very comfortable as it has adjustable cuffs and a rear vent. Marks and Spencer also employs some useful clothing technology in their products, with this one using special heat treated buttons (Buttonsafe technology) so the buttons won’t fall off, crease resistant technology to keep the garment looking good, and water repellent technology to ensure the raincoat is good at its key purpose of keeping you dry. The coat is lined but unpadded, and made from polyester, which means it’s machine washable and easy to take care of.

Debenhams is another major retailer that offers great value ladies raincoats. Take for example, this black ladies mac, which is just £45.

Maybe you prefer something brighter for your outerwear. In this case, there is also plenty to choose from, and John Lewis has a great range.
