Face Cleaning Products You Need When Travelling

travel-beauty-tips

Traveling is one of the best ways to unwind and relax — to take a break from the  daily grind. But a lot of times, it’s also the easiest way to make your skin either too dry and dull or extremely oily and shiny. It’s true that travelling feels refreshing to the mind and body, but the climate and lifestyle changes it entails can make your skin more prone to breakouts and wrinkles.

One of the best ways to show TLC on your skin while travelling is through efficient cleansing. Consider putting your skincare products in small containers to make sure that you still get to give holistic care to your skin even while on the road. But if you’re planning to pack light with absolutely no intention of bringing all your beauty products with you, these facial cleaning products will be enough to sustain your skin’s vitality:

Cleanser – remove dirt and excess oil

As the name suggests, cleansers basically remove dirt and excess oil on your skin without stripping its moisture. Cleansers are usually in liquid form, but there are cleansing wipes available in drugstores that can work just as well.

It’s important to cleanse your skin everyday especially if your itinerary involves getting exposed to smoke and dust. Proper skin cleansing can help ensure that your skin is cleared of dirt that can clog the pores which can lead to blackheads, whiteheads or pimples.

Toner – deep cleanse and tone

A toner compliments cleansers in deep cleaning your skin. Traveling can make your skin more exposed to dirt. It’s so much easier to have dirt get stuck in your pores . Using a toner guarantees that  your skin is thoroughly cleared of dirt and bacteria to make sure it stays blemish-free.

Moisturizer – hydrate and revitalize

Applying moisturizer allows your skin to get hydrated to keep it healthy and glowing. This is important especially if you’re planning to travel to a place with a much warmer climate. It keeps your skin from getting dry and flaky.

If you have oily skin, using a moisturizer can also keep your skin hydrated, which prevents the production of excess oil. It prevents your skin from having break outs (don’t let pimples get in the way of you enjoying your vacation!).

Sunscreen – protect the skin from harsh UV rays

Sunscreen is important if you’re travelling to a place where the sun hits your skin. It doesn’t matter if you’re travelling to the sunny Hawaii or to the snow-filled Alaska, sunscreen is important to protect your skin to the harsh rays of the sun.

Pack your sunscreen and apply it on your skin before heading out to a new day’s adventure. It’s a simple addition to your morning routine. Your skin will thank you later.

Bonus:

If you have a small space to spare in your luggage, squeeze in your favorite beauty tool. I personally use a jade facial roller which I think does wonders on my skin. And when I have available space, even when it’s just a teeny tiny bit, I try to bring my jade roller with me to make sure I still get to enjoy a soothing face massage and beautify at the same time.

Even if it’s not a jade roller, you can bring your favorite facial massager or a few masks that you love. After all, the goal here is to maintain or even exceed the level of skincare you get at home. That’s the best way to maintain your glowing skin while travelling!

It’s true that your skin can become much more vulnerable when you’re travelling. But with an efficient skin care routine, your blemishes will not be a problem during your trip. I know how challenging it can be to stick to a routine while travelling because it’s so tempting to head straight to bed after a long day of adventure.

But with these facial cleaning products, you won’t have to spend a lot of time on skin care. Just apply a few products and then go to sleep. When you wake up, you’ll feel refreshed, beautiful and ready to see what the day has in store for you.
