So, here are the new footwear trends that the A-listers are loving, and how you can wear them in your everyday life — no celeb bank balance needed!
Thigh-high boots
Channel your inner Britney Spears with some super stylish thigh-high boots. She recently started her tour wearing a pair of these with some tiny hotpants, and if that’s your style, then go for it.
However, if you’re looking for something a little more wearable, you can still give these a go. You can wear a pair of high-heeled thigh-high boots with a dress for going out, or rock a flat pair over a pair of faded skinnies for a look that will make you feel like you have so much power in any room you walk into — just like the pop princess herself!
Modern loafers
Angelina Jolie is a big fan of a classic, elegant loafer especially when she’s constantly on the road for movies and award ceremonies! Preppy but casual, the rubber sole is built to last and can be worn with almost anything. This shoe is a real game-changer. Just add it to any outfit for a touch of class and sophistication. They’re super comfortable too — everything we want in a shoe! Plus, if it’s good enough for Jolie, it’s definitely good enough for us.

The high street stores will be selling dupes of these amazing boots, with a mermaid-esque shimmer, a chunky four-inch heel, and a stylish pointed toe.
Dad shoes
This is a look that’s like Marmite, you either love it or you hate it! Celebs like Kendall Jenner, Stella McCartney and Rita Ora are all wearing trainers that look like they’ve come straight out of your dad’s weekend wardrobe. Think thick soles on chunky sneakers in awful colours and you’ll be pretty much there. Sure, you could buy some Yeezys, or you could literally raid your dad’s cupboard and for once be glad that you’ve got quite big feet!
Slides
Slides are currently the most comfortable shoes on the planet — and pretty practical to just slip on and look effortlessly cool. Zendaya loves a pair of Nike Slides, paired with socks, ¾ length yoga pants, and a slouchy Ivy Park sweatshirt for when she’s travelling — a simple, comfortable look that is as stylish as is it practical.
Chances are, the celebrities have spent more money on these shoes than you get paid a month, but thankfully that’s what the high street is for! You’ll be able to find pocket-friendly versions of each of these shoes which will still have the wow-factor, but without maxing out your credit card.
