In today’s celebrity world, the women are diet crazy as they shed pounds in a week on ridiculous, unhealthy diets. 

From the baby food diet to the water diet, these supposed role models are fading into nothing as many of us try and copy their superslim look.

While many of us think that this look is the right way to be, you should take a glance at these celebrities who have taken a turn for the worst, and see what you think is more attractive. 

5. Keira Knightley

The British actress is constantly fighting rumours that she is anorexic, after a family history of her grandmother and great grandmother suffering from the illness. Keira insists she is not battling the same problem and is naturally skinny anyway. Lucky her!

Although the pictures don’t show much difference, you can definitely see the great difference when she has a little bit of meat on her. Come on Keira, swap a salad for a pie!

4. Terri Hatcher

The Desperate Housewives star once had a beautiful curvaceous figure that most women would die for. Now, since entering back into the spotlight, the actresses weight has dropped dramatically to keep up with the constant battle in the celebrity world of skinnyness. 

The star definitely looks healthier and happier  in the second of these to pictures. STOP RUNNING TERRI AND GRAB A CHOCOLATE BAR!

3. Victoria Beckham

The former Spice Girl may have improved her fashion sense, but definitely lost the plot when it comes to her eating habits. While we envy women who quickly loose the weight after three children, we definitely don’t approved when they turn super thin with all their bones on show!

Victoria has always had a petite figure, yet her recent size zero look makes her look like a walking skeleton with massive implants! Not really that sexy Victoria! 

2. Nicole Richie

The reality show star shrunk to a pint size celeb in 2006, feeling overweight after the series of The Simple Life, with skinny co star Paris Hilton, had ended. 

The mother-of-one shrunk to a tiny size zero and shocked the nation with her rib cage and skinny legs out on show while out on the beach with friends. 

Nicole admitted at the time that she was aware she was underweight and planned to get healthy while she had her baby.

The sexy US actress dramatically lost a lot of weight after the death of her mother in 2007, who died of ovarian cancer. The star admitted she was struggling with the death of her mother, while at the same time looking after her four children. 

The star insisted that she has always been lean, and gets annoyed when people claim she is trying to fit into skinny jeans and enjoys being thin. Angelina said that someone telling her she is thin, is not a compliment.

Socialite Nicole Richie is pregnant with her second child, Nicole is best known for her appearance as a reality TV star on the show ‘The Simple Life’ and her boyfriend Joel Madden announced the couple are expecting a sibling for their 13-month-old daughter Harlow Winter.

Nicole who is also the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, is due to give birth in August. Joel wrote on his band Good Charlotte’s website saying: ‘What’s better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister.’

‘God has truly blessed my family. Hope you’re all feeling as good as I am right now.’

Former Hollywood wildchild Nicole has credited motherhood with helping her to settle down, she had a well-publicised battle with drug addiction in her teens and going to rehab at 21, Nicole ended up serving 82 minutes in a Los Angeles jail in August 2007 after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of marijuana and Vicodin.

Nicole spoke about her relationship with Joel last year saying: ‘It’s weird – even though we had only been together a few months, we had lightly talked about having a family. I think we always knew. It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.’

Joel, 29, and Nicole, 27, have been dating since November 2006, shortly after he ended his long-term relationship with singer/actress Hilary Duff.

Nicole gave birth to Harlow in January last year after her ‘surprise’ pregnancy. Nicole and Joel introduced Paris Hilton who is Nicole’s best friend to Joel’s twin brother Benji and the pair had a short but sweet relationship last year which only lasted a couple of months.

Former bad-girl turned family lover, Nicole Richie, might be returning back to reality television. The former Simple Life star, who starred in the show alongside her best friend Paris Hilton, is now a mum to her gorgeous little girl Harlow, is out pitching her now found family-driven life down the same reality TV route. 

Nicole Richie’s beau, Good Charlotte star Joel Madden along with his rocker twin brother Benji and Nicole’s dad, R&B singing sensation, Lionel Richie, have all signed on to the project to film a reality TV show about their lives.

Nicole wants the world to know what it’s like to be a working mum with a rock star boyfriend and a world famous father who she says is a very big influence to her. 

The response to the show so far has been pretty skeptical, but i think a lot of people will wonder what it’s like for people like her… and the rock-star family thing could really create an interesting watch!

Giving the whole world a glimpse at her new cropped hairdo, Paris Hilton partied the night away at Apple Lounge in Hollywood, California last night whilst giving the whole world a glimpse at her new cropped hair style which she is enjoying ‘sporting’ as she says! Miss Hilton may have also gone under the needle to add a little plumpness to her lips by the looks of these photographs. 

The famous simple life lady wore a black and white printed minidress along with a pair of black stockings and matching knee-high zip-up black leather heeled boots as she made her exit from the Apple Lounge, her new hairstyle looks great and will be far easier for her to maintain then her long blonde locks she is most known for. 

In related news, fans of Paris may be getting more than they bargained for when they visit her website, Parishilton.com has been hacked and is serving visitors malware. According to ScanSafe, the website installs a malicious Trojan program designed to steal sensitive information from visitors’ computers.

The Paris Hilton website gets a huge amount of visitors each day and it is very concerning for Paris, the website host and scansafe when a high profile website like ParisHilton.com gets hacked.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have talked about giving their daughter Harlow a sibling and it looks like the time might be here, Nicole has always said she would love to have another child and possibly even adopt, but 2009 may be there year for her to have another child. 

 So it might be “baby time again” for the couple. Harlow will celebrate her first birthday on 11th January and her mum Nicole has started taking prenatal vitamins, watching her diet and designing fashionable maternity wear, gearing up for her second pregnancy.

A close friend of Nicole’s says, “Nicole simply told Joel that she wants another baby – right away. He was a little overwhelmed at first, but now he’s with her 100 percent.  They’re both thrilled about adding to their family.”

The young couple recently went through a bit of a rough patch, but things are good now and they are back on track and ready to add to their little family. 

Nicole’s friend has added, Things are amazing between them.  Nicole knows it’s because they’re both so happy with Harlow, and she truly believes another baby will double their commitment.” So Nicole and Joel baby bump watch of 2009 should begin right from now, the start of a new year!

Are Nicole Richie and Joel Madden giving their baby a sibling?  They have one daughter, Harlow Winter, who will turn one in the new year and the couple would love to expand their family.  Is there a surprise for baby Harlow coming up?

Nicole has previously said that she hoped for three girls and twin boys, and when she was asked if she would ever adopt she said she would definitely consider it as she is adopted. However, boyfriend Joel would have preferred to have another biological child before adopting but he’s since changed his mind.

Joel said, “I’m definitely not against adopting. I went to Central African Republic and fell in love with the place. If I was going to adopt it would probably be from there. Nicole and I are very happy and eventually we’d love to have more kids, especially if they can all be as easy and wonderful as Harlow!”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed their baby girl Harlow 11 months ago, and Nicole says that her daughter is turning into a style icon already.  Baby Harlow loves dressing up and really loves tights!

“She likes to dress up. You can see it in her face. She just loves dressing up; she loves putting on tights and bows and stuff like that. I’m not too caught up in her fashion at the moment. I just let her wear what’s comfortable for her. But she loves those tights.”
