Lily Allen has admitted she is so broke she has had to sell her £35,000 BMW 320 convertible to put food on the table.

Despite her huge success of new album, ‘It’s not me it’s you,’ and selling millions of records worldwide, the singer has splashed her cash on extravagant items she can no longer afford to keep. Lily said, “I’ve been hit big time by the credit crunch. Actually, I just had to sell my car because I’m so broke.

“I bought a car last year and that was probably my biggest extravagance. Clothes too, I’m always buying clothes.”

The pop chick who loves to splurge her money on Chanel and YSL heels may have to resort to spending her cash on the high street in Primark for now; however, she doesn’t plan on staying broke for too long.

“I’m completely skint. I can’t even spend on credit cards. I mean, I won’t be, as I’m waiting until I get the royalties from the album and all the radio plays but that takes about a year. “The banks will usually front your money in that kind of situation but they are not lending at the moment so it’s a tricky time.”

The successful singer, whose recent single, The Fear, and album, It’s Not Me It’s You, both hit the Number One spot, doesn’t think that the music industry might not be her number one priority for much longer.

The 23-year-old singer said, “Isn’t the point of life to find a partner? That’s the idea, isn’t it? I don’t know if I want to get married. I know I want to be falling in love, that’s the good s***.”

The singer hasn’t been the luckiest in love, recently splitting with art dealer, Jay Jopling, 45.

Early 2008 saw Allen split from Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers shortly after she suffered a miscarriage with his child.

Lilly is sensible in knowing her career may not last forever and has taken to some sweet hobbies to keep her entertained.

“I’m really enjoying my life but if it lasts, it lasts, and if it doesn’t I’ll find something else. There’s always a cake shop. I really like baking.”

Simon Cowell’s ex girlfriend has admitted that being with him is like having a “full-time job.”

Terri Seymour who dated Simon, 48, for six years before they split last year, is still helping the music man manage his busy career and life.

Terri said, “Looking after Simon’s a full-time job when you go out with him - and I’m still doing it now! I’m still overseeing and finalising his new house, I’ve project-managed it all, right down to the furniture.

“There’s no way he’ll remember what furniture will be arriving because we ordered it four years ago!”

The couple split in September 2008 after rumours that he had been cheating and wouldn’t settle down with Terri.

Max Clifford, Cowell’s rep, insisted that the split was amicable. He said, “Terri phoned Simon and finished it in the September.

“They are going to remain close friends. Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn’t going to change. He also understands her reason for ending it.”

Terrie, 34, in her interview with Britain’s Closer magazine, insists that she still sees and speaks to Simon as much as they did when they were a couple.

“Simon and I speak six times a day, and I see him all the time. We’re happy as we are. We still see each other as much as when we were together.

“We didn’t end on bad terms, so why would you want somebody out of your life just because you’re not seeing them?”

However, Terri admitted she was always aware that Simon and her wanted different things and was surprised they lasted so long.

“From the beginning I knew he never wanted to get married and have kids. I’ve never been one of those people who dreamt of getting married, although I’d love to have a baby.

“I probably feel this way because my mum raised me as a single parent. Having a child with someone means more than having a marriage certificate. My clock’s not ticking yet - although I’d like to have a child before I turn 40.”

Jade Goody has started her first day of married life after her “dream” wedding to Jack Tweed. The reality TV star Jade has just being given only months to live as she is battling with cancer, enjoyed a day of “laughter and tears” at the lavish ceremony in Essex, her publicist Max Clifford said.

The lavish ceremony was attended by around 200 guests including television personalities Richard Madeley, Judy Finnigan and Paul O’Grady - and also included a performance from girl band the Sugababes.

Mother-of-two Jade was reportedly dosed with painkillers for the 45-minute service at the Down Hall Country Hotel near Hatfield Heath.

Jade stood for the whole service wearing a £3,500 Makado gown before being being forced to sit down from “fatigue and emotion” and then her young sons then sat on her knees.

Jade made an emotional thank-you to her guests saying: “I just want to thank you all for making my special day really special. I’m just so very happy.”

Jack Tweed had his night-time bail curfew following his conviction for assault was lifted by the Ministry of Justice spoke after Jade adding: “I’m proud to say I’m your husband.”

The 27-year-old TV personality sold the picture and TV rights of the ceremony for nearly £1 million, and she hopes to raise as much money as possible for her sons from a previous relationship, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four. Her publicist Max Clifford spoke as he left the event saying: ”It was a wonderful day. A dream day. Sharon Osbourne has allegedly come to blows with a model who reportedly called her husband Ozzy “brain dead”, Sharon is known for being a bit of a loose cannon so god help anyone who decides to come to blows with her - especially over her family. 

Model Megan Hauserman, 29, filed a police report accusing Sharon of pulling her hair at a taping of the VH1 show Rock Of Love: Charm School after the two traded verbal insults over insults made by Megan about her husband Ozzy. 

The television programme is hosted by Sharon and it involves 14 contestants from the reality show Rock Of Love compete to develop proper etiquette in order to win 100,000 dollars.

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed officers had received a report and were investigating the incident. Ms Hauserman claimed Mrs Osbourne ran across the stage after she insulted her husband, grabbed her by the hair, and refused to let go during a taping of the show at the weekend.

Chris Brown - RnB singer Rihanna’s boyfriend, has surrendered to LA police in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident. The identity of the victim has not been released but, according to a police statement, the R&B singer and a woman were in a car in LA when they became involved in argument. The arrest of singer Chris Brown is unexpected and out of character as the 19-year-old singer is known for his wild dance moves, not a wild lifestyle.

After Chris Brown stopped the car, the altercation between the RnB singer and the ‘woman’ escalated and when the LAPD arrived they found that the woman had suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.

Rihanna and Chris Brown had been expected to attend the Grammy Awards but just before the ceremony, a statement was released saying: “We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening.”

Rhianna’s rep spoke out about the singer when concern was expressed for her clients welfare, she said: “Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support.” Chris Brown turned himself into the police and was later released on a $50,000 bail.

Chris Brown made his debut in 2005, and his reputation quickly grew as a young, talented RnB singer with hits performed with strong choreography skills complimenting his string of hits. His hit duet “No Air,” with Jordin Sparks, was nominated for a Grammy, but did not win. Brown and Rihanna have been linked for over a year, though they have been reluctant to discuss their relationship. 

Chris Brown’s fanbase appear to be supporting him and are taking a wait-and-see attitude before making their judgment, Rihanna’s are not so optimistic though, posting messages such as, “Send the right message to your fans to leave any boy who would hit you, He does not deserve you. I will never buy another of his CDs regardless.”

Concerns are growing for Katie Holmes’ health and well-being after she and her famous actor husband Tom Cruise after the couple have received terrifying death threats. They famous couple have been targeted by a number of large groups who oppose Katie and Toms beliefs regarding scientology, and Tom who is 46 has called in the FBI to investigate the claims and track down exactly where they have come from. 

These death threats have taken their toll on 30 year old Katie as she has stopped eating and is constantly worried about where she goes and who with, Katie’s friends have no said that they are worried about her pale and gaunt appearance which is a result of these troubles. 

Tom is looking after his family by hiring round the clock security and has ordered his wife and two year old daughter Suri to travel in bullet proof cars and be guarded at all times, Tom has also spent a reported £6m on an underground bunker at the couples home. They are certainly taking these threats seriously and this is why Katie is struggling as it is all becoming a frightening reality.

Jordan and Peter are set to move their family to Los Angeles in only three months, and they are both very excited about the move and their new start in the sunshine. Jordan is famous for her glamourous photo shoots and she was recently spotted leaving a photoshoot in Surrey wearing just a bra from her underwear range, a pair of angel wings and a barely there see-through skirt - maybe she is preparing herself for the new hot climate she will be escaping to!

Peter is planning to finish off his album in LA, and the family will also be filming a new series of their reality show - Katie and Peter, Stateside, and Katie is planning on a launch of some of her clothing range in America. 

Katie is planning on releasing a new perfume, cosmetics, hair products, underwear, pram and highchair range and more books, so whilst she is in LA she will be busy with lots of meetings and planning the year ahead.

There is also a rumour of Katie doing yet another raunchy photoshoot for the lad’s mag playboy magazine, as this is something Katie would love to do. Katie has said that she is also planning on expanding her brood in 2009 so maybe there will be another Price/Andre which will be conceived on stateside and arriving in 2010!

There is no doubt that Jade Goody had a rough time in 2008 and wants to forget it and move on… Jade has had a tough 12 months including her battle with cervical cancer and her boyfriend Jack Tweed being sent to prison. 

And just as poor Jade is thinking things couldn’t get any worse, she was rushed into hospital last week to have emergency surgery on a blocked kidney, and as a result of this Jade has had to pull out of her starring role in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs in Lincoln.

Jade was very brave to commit to doing the pantomime in the first place and she is now gutted she has had to admit defeat, lets hope Jade has a speedy recovery from yet another latest setback and has a happier and healthier 2009.

Giving the whole world a glimpse at her new cropped hairdo, Paris Hilton partied the night away at Apple Lounge in Hollywood, California last night whilst giving the whole world a glimpse at her new cropped hair style which she is enjoying ’sporting’ as she says! Miss Hilton may have also gone under the needle to add a little plumpness to her lips by the looks of these photographs. 

The famous simple life lady wore a black and white printed minidress along with a pair of black stockings and matching knee-high zip-up black leather heeled boots as she made her exit from the Apple Lounge, her new hairstyle looks great and will be far easier for her to maintain then her long blonde locks she is most known for. 

In related news, fans of Paris may be getting more than they bargained for when they visit her website, Parishilton.com has been hacked and is serving visitors malware. According to ScanSafe, the website installs a malicious Trojan program designed to steal sensitive information from visitors’ computers.

The Paris Hilton website gets a huge amount of visitors each day and it is very concerning for Paris, the website host and scansafe when a high profile website like ParisHilton.com gets hacked.

Not many men like body hair on women, if fact most find it a complete turn off, but apparently Sacha Baron Cohen isn’t one of those men…
Isla Fisher, the gorgeous Australian actress, recently confessed that she wears a fake moustache when she and Sacha are alone. Isla had said that both she and Sacha believe there is nothing sexier than a handlebar moustache, and that they have a spare one at home that Isla sometimes wears! 

That must make for some interesting if not very strange role-play scenarios, and there little daughter Olive must get very confused when these situations arise, but i personally hope she isn’t around when these ‘events’ take place, then again, she probably just thinks it’s funny. 

Olive won’t have to worry about her mummy coming home with a different look due to plastic surgery. Isla refuses to change her looks and has said she will never have any form of plastic surgery. Not that she needs it of course, she is naturally beautiful. 

Isla said, “Being proud of who we are as people is more important than cutting into ourselves to create this false idea of beauty. I think there is nothing sexier than laughter lines. I haven’t done the white teeth - I haven’t really Americanised my look. But we will see what happens when you interview me in five years. Maybe I’ll be looking permanently surprised, but i very much doubt it!”

So is suppose that means all you need is  laugh lines and a handlebar moustache and your suddenly one of the most attractive people in the world, if only that could work for most of us!
