Gwyneth Paltrow the famous actress has revealed she is set to launch a cookbook. Gwyneth who is best known for her role in the film Iron Man, is set to release a book with a selection of recipes and it will be titled ‘My Fathers Daughter’, the book is set for release next year. 

Gwyneth’s book publishers say while it will feature interesting cooking ideas it will also “focus on the importance of togetherness at mealtime, emphasising that cooking for your family is the ultimate expression of love.”

The book will contain a wide range of recipes which will help to express the importance of families eating together by being designed with the entire family in mind. Gwyneth says she gets her love for cooking from her late father Bruce Paltrow who died in 2002 from pneumonia after battling throat cancer.

The actress is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and they have two children together, daughter Apple and son Moses, Gwyneth spoke about her Dad saying how he was a famous pancake maker and she is currently working on his secret recipe to also master his talents, but she added that she is making hers slightly healthier.

The 36-year-old star explained how her father’s cancer diagnosis made her reassess her diet and lifestyle. She said: “I met a macrobiotic counsellor who was dying from cancer and she cleared herself. She said my father had to detoxify otherwise the cancer would return. And it did. I believe there’s a direct correlation between environmental toxins, preservatives in food, and disease.”

Gwyneth has said no longer follows a macrobiotic diet but is dedicated to health and ‘nourishing the inner aspect’, she also made a TV series called ‘Spain: On The Road Again’ and this involved her traveling through Spain trying local dishes with chef Mario Batali.

Gwyneth Paltrow stunned Cheryl Cole when she sang her a Girls Aloud track on the phone. Gwyneth who is a famous Hollywood actress was sitting with hubby Chris Martin as he called the girl group to ask them to support Coldplay at Wembley Stadium. 

When Chris was chatting to Cheryl talking about supporting Coldplay, Gwyneth grabbed the phone and treated her to a few words from the Girls Aloud’s first No 1 single Sound Of The Underground. A source said the girls were very excited about Coldplay singer Chris Martin calling them personally to discuss them being a supporting act. 

Nicola Roberts phoned Cheryl to chat about it and discovered that her bandmate had already spoken to the famous couple and was “still in shock”.

Chris roped in his missus to give Cheryl an X Factor-style sing-song. Gwyneth belted out the girls’ hit single down the phone with Chris joining in, creating a surprise duet for Cheryl. Gwyneth apparently also asked Cheryl if she’d bring The X Factor winner Alex Burke along to the gig in September, whilst giggling about her singing to Cheryl.

Everyone who is a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow is wondering if she has recently had breast implants… its not like it would be completely unheard of, Gwyneth is a mum of two and if she breastfed her babies perhaps they started to sag and she felt they need ‘pumping’ up a bit

Some fans of Gwyneth Paltrow wonder if her new curves are the result of more than two hours a day working out with Tracy Anderson, who also trains Madonna. After checking out her cleavage on the cover of Gotham magazine, Gwyneth’s fans are speculating she’s had breast augmentation surgery.

“She didn’t use to have anything up top,” said one expert. “Now she does, and they are perky.” Gwyneth, who’s been wearing micro-minis lately to show off her legs, is maybe doing this to disguise the fact she has had breast surgery.

Maybe it is the result of a good bra or some photo-shop magic, nothing more. But if she wants to get some bigger boobs, I say go for it!  Although if she plans on having more kids, I’d wait until she’s done making babies before getting the surgery.

Gwyneth recently appeared in an ad for Tod, wearing fur for the Italian company, she is well known for her eco-friendly, pro-vegetarian views and shocked PETA by wearing fur in the ad. PETA said, “Gwyneth Paltrow won’t be the apple of her daughter’s eye if she continues to flaunt fur. It’s a terrible example to set for a young child, promoting an industry that electrocutes animals, snaps their necks and skins them alive.”??

Gwyneth had excuse of why she wore fur in the ad, “During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulders. I didn’t pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur I assumed it was fake fur but did not ask, so it’s my fault. I was very surprised when they ended up using that one shot out of hundreds for the centerpiece of the Tod’s ads.”

Gwyneth Paltrow has been hitting the headlines recently because of her various red carpet appearances wearing a short skirt and stilettos. The press coverage of this is fascinating, with journalists debating about the state of her marriage simply because she’s chosen to step out at each event in sky-high heels.

So what’s all the fuss about? I put it down to the fact that the shoes she’s been wearing are so impractical. She looks great in her poses for the photographers but I bet her feet were really killing her. Why put yourself through the agony of it all I hear you ask? Well, it’s simply because the most wonderful looking shoes are extremely uncomfortable.

The cute little ballerina pumps that everyone is wearing may feel like slippers, but unless you’ve got the legs of a racehorse, they will make you look dumpy.
There’s something about a three-inch heel that elongates the calf and adds a wiggle to your walk. It’s a simple fact of life that when you slip into a pair of elegant stilettos you become a goddess, slip on a pair of Crocs or flip flops and you become anything but.

As little girls we were always told the story of Cinderella and her beautiful glass slipper. I doubt that prince charming would have been so keen to find her had she left one of her Ugg boots behind!
There’s even more good news for those of us who love high heels. They may actually be good for your health and your sex life. Italian Eurologist, Dr Maria Cerruto, has undertaken a recent study  of 66 women under 50. She found that those who held their foot at a 15 degree angle to the ground – the equivalent of a two inch heel – had as good posture as those who wore flat shoes, and crucially showed less electrical activity in their pelvic muscles.
This suggested the muscles were at an optimum position, which could well improve their strength and ability to contract.
So if high heels can indeed make us look and feel better, how on earth do you walk in them, especially if you live in an area where there are hills and uneven pavements?
Here is my essential guide to walking in high heels:
1.    Image an invisible string running through your head down to the base of your spine. Envisage that someone is pulling the string upwards so that you keep your weight back, back straight and head up to stay balanced.
2.    When you walk, step with your heel first then roll onto the ball of your foot.
3.    Use small steps rather than striding forward.
4.    Never forget how gorgeous you look and this will help you push on through the pain barrier!
