Jennifer Aniston’s ex boyfriend tried to win her back by proposing to her in front of his mother.

The ‘Friends’ star - who recently split from on off boyfriend John Mayer earlier this year - revealed that one of her former boyfriends went to extreme measures in a bid to win back her love.

She said, “I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant.

“The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, ‘Get Up!’ It was horrible.”

Meanwhile the unlucky in love actress insists she can’t imagine her life away from the limelight.

Jennifer explained, “Would I love a level of anonymity? Sure, there are times I would love to take a moment. But that is lonely. It seems like a lonely existence.

“There is so much more to do. It is almost overwhelming. I have gotten to a great place in my career.”

However, Jennifer who was once married to hunky actor Brad Pitt, says she has missed out on some life-changing experiences, even though she has had a wonderful movie career.

She said, “What would I do if I wasn’t acting? I don’t know. Maybe I would become a chef. And I would travel. I would go back to the years I never did what I wish I would have don, which was travel Europe and backpack. That sounds slightly romantic.”

US actress, Jennifer Aniston, 40, has dumped musician boyfriend John Mayer because he wasn’t ready to have a child with her. The ‘Friends’ actress has been dating Mayer, 31, on and off for about a year, ended the relationship last week, as Jennifer is desperate to start a family.

A source told America’s OK! Magazine, “She was truly ready to move on. John wasn’t ready to father her child so she ended it.” It has been reported that the pair split on good terms and have not ruled out rekindling their romance in the near future. 

“They left the door open to give it another go. John’s number one priority at the moment is his music, it’s all-consuming for him,” said another source.

Reports suggested the Mayer ended the relationship with Aniston after her return from her European tour promoting her latest film, Marley and Me.

However, POPEATER, squashed these reports stating, “Jennifer Aniston is saying it’s actually the other way around. Aniston reportedly told her friends it was her decision to end their relationship after Mayer became distant following their appearance at the Oscars, WENN reports.”

Previous reports suggested that Aniston was keen for John to commit to their future, after he promised to change his partying lifestyle if they were to start a family. Actress, Drew Barrymore, a close friend of Aniston, was reported to have disliked Mayer, and was keen for the ‘Friends’ star to get rid of him.

It was reported that Drew believed Mayor was using Aniston to raise his celebrity profile and never really wanted kids with her at all.

Speaking about her desire for a family Jennifer said, “I feel it’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way. I want to have children. That’s my plan. Of course I’d like to be a mother some day, and I love children.”

We all know that the Back to Black singer is famous for her beehive hairdo, but this is just taking it a step too far!

Its mass probably weighs more than her actual body weight put together. And then its jet black colour against her pale complexion…not good!

2.     Britney Spears

The singer has had an album of hair dos since shaving it all off last year. The US singer has had the dodgiest of extensions and wigs, from blonde tacky strands, to dull and lifeless brunette hair. Although the star is getting back on track and realising a good barnet is actually pretty useful, it’s ever so easy to remember that fateful night she thought the middle-aged balding man look was pretty sexy!

3.     Sarah Harding

Now I think Sarah may have got slightly confused when her band members asked whether she was to do a star trek to Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. Instead, the Girls Aloud singer decided to go for the Mr Spock look, hoping to steal the lime light from the other band members. Don’t worry Sarah, you’ve certainly done that!

4.     Edith Bowman

Scary! Why Edith decided to go for the Camilla Parker Bowles look is beyond understanding. The rock chick Radio One presenter’s granny look doesn’t do her many favours and most likely sent her singer boyfriend, from The Editors running for the hills. Go and do some knitting Edith!

5.     Lilly Allen

The lovable Lilly Allen became not so lovable when she died her hair pink. What was she thinking? Not only did it wash her out, it looks plastic, flat and did not make her look like a rock star. Stick to brunette Lilly, it’s just safer!

Jennifer Aniston attended the premier of her new film Marley and Me in London last night, and everyone agreed she looked stunning in a full length blue burberry dress and she wowed the crowds that had turned up to catch a glimpse of her on the red carpet. 

The former Friends actress joined co-star Owen Wilson on the red carpet at London’s Leicester Square to sign autographs for screaming fans, and reports have said both Jennifer and Owen were friendly and chatty with everyone who had turned up to see them and were happy to answer questions related to their new film. 

Jennifer Aniston braved the plunging temperatures wearing a floor-length strapless gown by British label Burberry, giving British designers a thumbs up at the London event. The movie concerns newlyweds John (Wilson) and Jenny Grogan (Aniston) who buy “the world’s worst dog” after moving to start new lives in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Speaking on the red carpet, Aniston put the film’s success in the US down to “the simplicity of it and the realness”.

“The characters that are portrayed are beautiful,” she said.

Other stars at the premiere included Dancing on Ice’s Roxanne Pallett, model Danielle Lloyd and I’m A Celebrity’s Gemma Atkinson.

Marley and Me is released nationwide in cinemas on March 11.

Friends actress Jennifer Aniston finally came face to face with love rival Angelina Jolie at the oscar awards on Sunday night, and what a hard way to do it - in front of millions of viewers.

Jennifer most recent film is ‘Marley and Me’ which is based on the book about a family who buy a puppy Labrador.

The star presented the award for Best Animated Feature Film after pulling off a great double act with comic Jack Black watched by ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who were sat right on the front row literally a stone throw away from Jennifer.

And both Angelina and Brad smiled as the comic pair joked about Jack’s animation voiceovers, and Jen grumbled about her meagre paycheck for The Iron Giant.

Jack replied: “Each year I do a Dreamworks movie then I take all the money to the Oscars and bet it on Pixar.”

Addressing the Dreamworks head co-host Jen added: “I’m sorry Mr Katzenberg, I don’t know why we let him out.”

The comic double made a great pair and had the audience laughing before the award was presented, I bet poor Jennifer let out a huge sigh of relief when it was over!

Brad and Jennifer split in 2005 after he met Angelina on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, and there has been speculation since that Brad actually cheated on Jennifer with Angelina whilst they were still married, but this has never been confirmed. 

Celebrity mansions… what dreams are made of! We rarely see the huge homes behind our favorite celebrities, so i have put together my top five, of which are in no order, as i would love to own any of them! Some people just have far too much money, maybe i should request they donate some to me?

Ashlee Simpson, Beverly Hills, California, rock singer Pete Wentz sold his $1.8 million bachelor pad to move into this $4.5 million home with Ashlee Simpson and they live next door to  Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. 

Jessica Alba, Beverly Hills, California, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren bought this $4 million, 4 bedroom home to welcome their baby girl. Its reported that the couple decorated the house using non-toxic paints and used furniture - for all you tree huggers out there. 

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Montecito, this LA mansion has 7 bedrooms and is worth a whopping $18 million, along with having a private jet and numerous supercars in a private hanger… perfect example of a celebrity pair with far too much cash! 

Tiger Woods, Windermere, this gorgeous huge home boasts 6692 square feet and 8 bedrooms on Lake Isleworth. I know i didn’t say a favorite but… if i had the choice this would be the one i would go for! 

Jennifer Aniston, Los Angeles, California, when Jen split which Brad Pitt she moved into a cottage on carbon beach which she rented, but in 2006 she upgraded to this $15 million mansion. It’s still a construction zone though she bought the property in 2006 and Jennifer has hired security guards to patrol the grounds during construction.

Is Jennifer Aniston going to have all her hopes and dreams answered soon, is has been common knowledge between all Aniston fans that she has wanted to be married with children very soon, as she has just reached 40, and it doesn’t help that her ex husband Brad Pitt has a herd of children with Angelina Jolie, maybe this is what is pushing her to have a family as soon as. 

But Jen may have convinced her boyfriend John Mayer to marry her, did she really have to persuade him to marry her and will John Mayer give her all those babies that she says she wants?

Jennifer told John she would only consider them getting back together if he was prepared to set a date to get married and John’s finally agreed to marry her - and they’re now planning a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding.

Jennifer apparently put her foot down and said that she wasn’t going to take him back so she issued John her ultimatum - that it was time for them to walk down the aisle together. Jen told him straight out that she wouldn’t put up with any more delays. And since she has always wanted a Greek Orthodox wedding - John said he would happily do anything to make her dream come true.

Lets just hope Jen isnt relying on a man and marriage to make her happy, as she doesn’t need a ma for this, she just needs a little more self esteem!

Courteney Cox  is facing some tough choices at the moment about her relationship with her husband David Arquette, Courteney is having to face decisions in the very near future that will apparently either make or break her relationship with her husband David. 

These decisions she has to make are to decide whether she is going to try IVF again, or whether she is going to adopt. David is desperate for a sibling for Coco. In fact it has caused many an argument between Courteney and David. 

One source says that, “David wants a sibling for Coco, but Courteney has reached a point where she feels it’s hopeless to keep trying to get pregnant. They love each other very much, but with Courteney’s intense work schedule and her resistance to adoption, David started to go out without her. But now Courteney’s given the OK to adopting a brother or sister for Coco, David has agreed to scale back on nights out.”

Courteney has said, “I’d like to have another child and I’ll probably do IVF again, even though it’s hard. Maybe if it doesn’t work I’ll adopt.” Whatever she decides to do, she intends to do it soon because she and Jennifer Aniston will want to be pregnant at the same time, and we all know that Jen is desperate for a baby.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their big family of six kids are world-travelers but Brad would like them to settle down for a while, he has said he would like to lay down some roots for the sake of their children, so they can get used to a certain area and know what its like for one particular place to be ‘home’. 

The Jolie and Pitt family have decided they will make France their home for the foreseeable future. They’ve tracked many miles with making movies, attending premieres and other work committments. Brad said, “I’ve been dragging them all from continent to continent lately, so we’re going to have to give them a break soon.”

Brad also added: “For the long term, right now, we’re choosing France. It’s good living there, a really nice way of life. It’s a place where the kids can run free and not be hassled - we have a good relationship with the locals, and it’s a good base for the family.”

The whole family is learning to speak French and oldest son Maddox has attended classes at French schools in New Orleans, New York and Prague during visits to those places.

The young family have enjoyed traveling around for a while but have found it tiring trying to drag six young children around the world for the sake of work, i think the Jolie-Pitt family have made a good decision to settle in one area for a while.

It looks like Jennifer Aniston could be about to experience the same level of pain she felt when Brad Pitt left her for Angelina Jolie if rumours are to be believed.

Since her split from Brad, Jen has been getting much needed attention from her two dogs who love the former Friends actress to bits and she loves them, saying her dogs are great company and they brighten up her day and cheer her up when she has had a long day at work. 

Jennifer’s new boyfriend John Mayer isn’t at all happy with the situation, especially as they are pets which Jen and Brad owned together, and Jen is fearing that he will make her choose between him and the her dogs.

John apparently hates Jen’s dogs, and he also hated Jessica Simpson’s dog Daisy, maybe this is the case, but it is no excuse to try and make someone choose between a person and their pet - Jen’s dogs are like children to her.
