Lohan has refused to appear in court to respond to a warrant for her arrest, and has sent her lawyer to represent her instead.

Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, confirmed to The Associated Press that she will appear in court on behalf of the 22-year-old actress.

The warrant was issued by a Beverly Hills judge on Friday, and carries a $50,000 bail.

Lohan’s lawyer believes the warrant was issued as the result of a misunderstanding and that it should be settled in court.

 It has been confirmed by a spokeswoman for the distric attorney’s office, that the warrant has something to do with the actress’s probation.

Lohan was sentenced to three years probation following a pair of driving under the influence arrests in 2007. Ms Holley has confirmed that so far Lohan has complied with all court orders.

Lohan is bound by law to complete regular drugs tests and report to her probation officer. Failure to act upon this is a violation to her sentence.

The “Mean Girls” actress was arrested in 2007 when her Mercedes-Benz hit a tree in Beverly Hills.

A few weeks later, the star was arrested in Santa Monica after the mother of her former personal assistant called 911 to report that her car was being chased by SUV driven by Lohan.

Lohan pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine, no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

The actress spent just 84 minutes in jail and was ordered undergo drug-rehabilitation treatment and to perform community service.

Lohan has been warned if she fails to comply with her probation she could face up to a year in jail on each of the drunk-driving and cocaine charges and 90 days on the reckless-driving charge.

The singer has had an album of hair dos since shaving it all off last year. The US singer has had the dodgiest of extensions and wigs, from blonde tacky strands, to dull and lifeless brunette hair. Although the star is getting back on track and realising a good barnet is actually pretty useful, it’s ever so easy to remember that fateful night she thought the middle-aged balding man look was pretty sexy!

3.     Sarah Harding

Now I think Sarah may have got slightly confused when her band members asked whether she was to do a star trek to Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. Instead, the Girls Aloud singer decided to go for the Mr Spock look, hoping to steal the lime light from the other band members. Don’t worry Sarah, you’ve certainly done that!

4.     Edith Bowman

Scary! Why Edith decided to go for the Camilla Parker Bowles look is beyond understanding. The rock chick Radio One presenter’s granny look doesn’t do her many favours and most likely sent her singer boyfriend, from The Editors running for the hills. Go and do some knitting Edith!

5.     Lilly Allen

The lovable Lilly Allen became not so lovable when she died her hair pink. What was she thinking? Not only did it wash her out, it looks plastic, flat and did not make her look like a rock star. Stick to brunette Lilly, it’s just safer!

Lily Allen has admitted she is so broke she has had to sell her £35,000 BMW 320 convertible to put food on the table.

Despite her huge success of new album, ‘It’s not me it’s you,’ and selling millions of records worldwide, the singer has splashed her cash on extravagant items she can no longer afford to keep. Lily said, “I’ve been hit big time by the credit crunch. Actually, I just had to sell my car because I’m so broke.

“I bought a car last year and that was probably my biggest extravagance. Clothes too, I’m always buying clothes.”

The pop chick who loves to splurge her money on Chanel and YSL heels may have to resort to spending her cash on the high street in Primark for now; however, she doesn’t plan on staying broke for too long.

“I’m completely skint. I can’t even spend on credit cards. I mean, I won’t be, as I’m waiting until I get the royalties from the album and all the radio plays but that takes about a year. “The banks will usually front your money in that kind of situation but they are not lending at the moment so it’s a tricky time.”

The successful singer, whose recent single, The Fear, and album, It’s Not Me It’s You, both hit the Number One spot, doesn’t think that the music industry might not be her number one priority for much longer.

The 23-year-old singer said, “Isn’t the point of life to find a partner? That’s the idea, isn’t it? I don’t know if I want to get married. I know I want to be falling in love, that’s the good s***.”

The singer hasn’t been the luckiest in love, recently splitting with art dealer, Jay Jopling, 45.

Early 2008 saw Allen split from Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers shortly after she suffered a miscarriage with his child.

Lilly is sensible in knowing her career may not last forever and has taken to some sweet hobbies to keep her entertained.

“I’m really enjoying my life but if it lasts, it lasts, and if it doesn’t I’ll find something else. There’s always a cake shop. I really like baking.”

New found best pals Lilly Allen and Lindsay Lohan are reportedly planning to go on holiday together, Lilly and Lindsay have become good friends while Lily has been in Los Angeles promoting her new album and even had matching tattoos, that say “Shhh…” on their index fingers, done together last week.

The pair have been partying hard together and recovering in the day by having lunch and shopping trips together, its like they have been friends for year already!

They have been getting on really well and they’re planning a summer escape along with Lindsay’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson, they have already started to plan locations and are thinking of Bahamas and are also planning a trip to the Coachella Music Festival in April to see Amy Winehouse.

Lily, 23, and Lindsay 22, are apparently also thinking about collaborating on some music together, and have briefly discussed making a record together and looked into arranging a studio where this could take place, they plan to discuss this further and make firm plans while they’re away on holiday.

This collaboration would also include Lindsay’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson who has also said she would welcome the two coming together to make some music and she would be more than happy to help promote it in her DJ sets, Samantha’s profile as a DJ has taken a boost since she was first linked to Lindsay.

Kings of Leon won double at the Brit Awards this year and have knocked Lily Allen off the top of the album charts.

Their debut album ‘Only By The Night’, which won the group the best international album prize at Wednesday’s ceremony, last topped the charts in autumn and has hovered in the top 10 ever since. The Brits’ boost has sent it shooting to No 1 again leaving Lily’s second album It’s Not Me It’s You in second place.

Lily’s single ‘The Fear’ kept her at the top of the singles chart for the fourth week running although Kings Of Leon, who also won best international group, moved up from 12 to No 3 with the single Use Somebody.

Duffy’s album Rockferry was the best selling album of 2008, and after the Welsh singer took the best album prize at the brits her album went from 19 to No 4 in the charts. Elbow, who won best British group, saw The Seldom Seen Kid shoot up from 23 to No 5.

The Brit’s effect did not only benefit people who had won awards, It was not just the winners who benefited from the Brits’ effect. The Ting Tings, who were nominated for best breakthrough act but lost out to Duffy, saw We Started Nothing move up 25 places from 33 to No 8.

Best international male solo artist nominee Seasick Steve’s album I Started Out With Nothin And I Still Got Most Of It Left went from 24 to No 9. Fleet Foxes, who lost out to Kings Of Leon in the best international group category, moved up one place from 11 to 10.

After a long night of partying and drinking and in the small early hours at 2am, it probably seemed like a brilliant idea.

Lily, 23, and Lindsay, 22, made a late night visit to Shamrock Tattoos in West Hollywood after living it up at celebrity haunt Chateau Marmont.

Lily is hoping her single ‘The Fear’ will reach No.1 in the American billboard charts, and she has performed this on numerous occasions throughout her visit to the USA. She is also gearing up for her American tour that has sold out and kicks off in April.

The 23-year-old Lily who is known for most recently being connected with an art dealer Jay Jopling, 45, almost twice her age, and previously dated Chemical Brothers musician Ed Simons, 38 – has a penchant for older men, and wants to sleep with the 86-year-old famous painter.

Lily has repeatedly spoken about the type of man which she is attracted to, and her response to this has always been ’someone older’. When asked if she liked the older man Lily replied: “Yes, someone older. 45, 50 is good. The other day I met Lucian Freud. And I thought, ‘I want to sh*g Lucian Freud.’ It would be funny. He’s four times my age.”

The singer – whose latest song ‘The Fear’ is currently topping the UK singles charts – was also asked if she is currently dating anyone, and she denied rumors of still being involved with art dealer Jay Jopling. Lily also said she is planning on staying single for the next two years because her latest album has left her too busy to be involved with romance.

She said: “I’m in that mindset where I realise I’m going to be so busy for the next two years. Even if I was to meet someone, I don’t have the time.”

Music star Lily Allen has left holiday makers starring in shock when she got steamy with her new 45 year old boyfriend during their luxury caribbean holiday break. Lily who is a 23 year old singer was seen smooching with art dealer Jay Jopling on numerous occasions throughout their break away together. 

They were seen strolling along the beach in St Barts staring lovingly into each others eyes and sharing smiles and laughs – how sweet! Onlookers have said that the couple were all over each other and and there was no doubt that they are an item and they are madly in love, but they were just surprised to see a young girl like Lily kissing a man like Jay. 

Jay is worth an estimated £100 million, and throughout the holiday they were seen cosying up on his private yacht. Lily was introduced to Jay a few years ago by her actor Dad Keith Allen who is friends with the art dealer and some of his artist friends, one being the hugely famous Damien Hirst. Jay who is former Tory Minister Lord Jopling, was once married to artist Sam Taylor-Wood, who is famous for her video portraits of sleeping celebrities. Sam and Jay married in 1997 and have two children together but they split last september. 

Lily has admit that she has fallen for Jay and has over the years developed a penchant for older men who are into arts, and Jay is not the first older man that Lily has ‘hooked up’ with, she dated Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons and before him she was with DJ Seb Chew who is in his early thirties.
