5 of The Best Coffee Shops in Manchester

Best Coffee Shops in Manchester

We all know how much a coffee-break can help your motivation, and if you’re stuck in the same environment all day, a quick pit-stop for coffee can make a great change of scenery.

Since the Celebricious team are based in Manchester, we thought it would be only right to include some of our favourite coffee shops in Manchester. It’s our favourite city (of course!) and is teaming with amazing restaurant and bars – so much so, you’ll be spoiled for choice!

Fig and Sparrow

Personally, my favourite coffee shop in Manchester is the Fig and Sparrow. It’s a 2 minute walk from Piccadilly Gardens, so if your exploring trip gets cut-short by the rain (which we guess it probably will be!), you’ll have an amazing place to keep dry.

The Fig & Sparrow is a homewear shop with a dainty cafe behind. They serve a kick-ass coffee, but you’ll pass by thinking it’s a normal, girly home store. You can drink a nice cup of Northern coffee and sit by the window, people-watching as hundreds of people pass by. Definitely a go-to shop if you’re nearby!

North Tea Power

One of our favourite coffee shops in Manchester is North Tea Power. It serves a cracking cup of coffee and grilled tea sandwiches, which makes it the perfect pit-stop lunch break. If you’re looking for a day-to-night coffee shop/restaurant – great news! North Tea Power also serve alcohol, so it’s probably not the one for morning coffee.

Pop Up Bikes

If biking is more your kinda’ thing and you’re looking for the best coffee shop in Manchester, we can guarantee that you’ll love Pop Up Bikes. It’s a cafe/restaurant in the city centre that combines a love for bikes and coffee.

Bring your bike along and park it in one of the 100 bicycle parking spaces that the cafe has to offer, and enjoy a warm panini and a cake. You really can’t go wrong with this little gem!

Teacup Kitchen

Teacup Kitchen is another small independent coffee shop in Manchester, that make the best rainbow cake you’ll ever taste.

This coffee shop is in the heart of the Northern Quarter – the home of some of Manchester’s best independent stores. Although tea is their speciality, they do make a pretty impressive coffee. Enjoy breakfasts, cakes and brunch dishes whilst knowing that all products are organic and locally sourced where possible!

Moose Coffee

If any fellow American/Canadians are coming to Manchester, you’ll fit right in at Moose Coffee! They’re an American/Canadian inspired diner that serve amazing coffees and cakes.

If you’re feeling a bit peckish, they also have an incredible brunch menu to feast your eyes on. The Celebricious team haven’t been here before, but it’s first on our list of places to visit. If you’ve been, let us know what you think!
