Oasis and Warehouse are amongst the latest highstreet stores to hit the wall, with a decision to permanently close all their stores and online shopping after administrators failed to secure a rescue deal.
And with more and more women’s fashion stores biting the dust in recent years – with even Debenhams stores under threat – it really is time to start clothes shopping online if you aren’t already. Take the likes of BooHoo, ASOS and Missguided – all online and selling well.
And what better time, when we’re constantly told to stay home, to curl up in your cosiest lounge pants and stick on a box set.
To see what all the hype’s about, I checked out some Femme Luxe offerings for myself.
Until now I’ve never really worn joggers to lounge about in as it’s usually work then crazy rush to pick kids up from nursery, tea, bath and bed turnaround and then before you know it, I’m in my PJs. So it was really quite nice to try out something different.
I opted for the Grey Camo Print Cargo Slim Leg Joggers RRP £33.98. (https://femmeluxefinery.co.uk/products/grey-camo-print-cargo-slim-leg-joggers-lucille)
With the drawstring waist, there was no nipping, pulling or uncomfortable riding up – all good signs.
In fact, they felt pretty weightless and just a comfortable fit all round, not tooo tight across the thigh and the perfect length on me. (I’m 5ft 7″)
They’re obviously designed for lounging about it but I’d quite happily go for a run in them. As for the fit, I’d say there were true to size, so all in all, a good purchase.
Grey Loungewear sets
I usually buy 12 but as the sizes were 10-12 or 12-14 in the grey loungewear sets, I wasn’t sure. I opted for large as they looked like an oversized style but I think a medium would have perhaps been a better fit.
This is definitely a great set for being laid back this season. The high waisted joggers were really comfy and they could easily be worn with a contrasting print t shirt instead. Delivery options were also great with next day available.
This is new on me as I wouldn’t expect to see anything woollen in a loungewear range but I was pleasantly surprised.
I chose the Wine Knitted Crop Top Loungewear Set – Leia RRP £47.98
This knitted loungewear could definitely be worn indoors or out so consider it a money-saving item of clothing!
Available in S/M and M/L, but the size was quite generous an despite being woollen was pretty cosy!
Quality products at good prices, I will certainly be back to buy more from the different collections.
