Asha Sienna Coronation Street reunion back on the cards as paramedic training resumes

Asha Sienna Coronation Street reunion

An Asha Sienna Coronation Street reunion is very much in play as Asha prepares to return to her paramedic training and face the prospect of seeing her ex again. After a turbulent run that tested her commitment to the job, she is heading back to work, and back into Sienna’s orbit.

A history that makes the return complicated

According to the Coronation Street Wiki, Asha began her student paramedic training in 2023, and it has been far from a smooth ride. In 2025 she seriously considered quitting, worn down by the emotional toll the role was taking on her, before eventually deciding to press on. Now, with that hard-won return to duty ahead of her, there is an added complication: Sienna.

Sienna, played by Charlotte Tyree, arrived on the soap as a work partner for Asha during her paramedic training, according to OK Magazine UK. The two became romantically involved, and the fact that they will now be back in the same workplace is what has Asha on edge. ‘Asha’s preparing to resume her paramedic training,’ a Corrie insider told us. ‘But she feels awkward about the idea of seeing her ex Sienna again.’

That awkwardness is understandable given everything Asha has been through to even get back to this point. Walking back into a job she once nearly left, only to find her ex waiting on the other side of the door, is a lot to navigate.

Asha Sienna Coronation Street reunion: will it happen?

Asha will not be doing it alone, at least not emotionally. Friends Summer and Amy are rallying round, and the three of them share a moment where they bond over their collective history of failed relationships. It is the kind of solidarity that makes Weatherfield feel like a real community when the show gets it right.

The big question, of course, is whether proximity to Sienna will rekindle something or simply confirm the relationship ran its course. ‘Could Asha heading back to work lead to a reunion with Sienna, or could it confirm that they’re not meant to be?’ the insider put it. Both outcomes are on the table, and the show appears to be keeping its options deliberately open for now.

Summer finds romance of her own with newcomer Marco

While Asha works through her complicated feelings, Summer is heading in a very different direction. A newcomer called Marco has arrived on the Street, and he wastes little time making an impression, though his methods raise an eyebrow or two.

At Roy’s, Marco spots one of Summer’s drawings and compliments her on it. Later, when Summer steps away from the table and leaves her notepad unattended, the illustration disappears. She tracks it down to the window of a tattoo shop, where Marco admits he took it, not as an act of malice, but as a rather unconventional way of engineering another meeting. He then asks her out for a drink.

It is a bold move, and whether Summer finds it charming or alarming will go a long way towards deciding where this storyline heads. ‘Summer has been single for a while now,’ a source close to the show told us. ‘She’s been through a lot over the last several months, so that makes sense, but now things have quietened down, it could be the right time to start dating again.’

The timing, at least, seems right from the show’s perspective, Summer having the emotional bandwidth to entertain a new romance is a development in itself, and Marco’s rather theatrical approach to asking someone out will at least keep things interesting.

ITV airs Coronation Street on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1, with episodes also available to stream on ITVX. Viewers will not have to wait long to see whether Asha’s first shift back brings a breakthrough or a clean break with Sienna, the storyline is due to play out next week.
