Rosedale Doodles has bred beloved family pets since 2005. The family-run business specialises in F1 Cockapoos, although after extensive research into the variation, Rosedale Doodles also started breeding F1B Cockapoos.

The Cockapoo’s origins lie in the United States. The breed combines the low-moulting Poodle breed with the loving personality of the Cocker Spaniel, culminating in a breed that is extremely popular today.
Rosedale Doodles has been breeding happy, healthy Cockapoo puppies since 2005, all with similar characteristics and looks. Rosedale Doodles mothers are bought as puppies and raised by the mother-daughter-led business, with each mum carefully selected for their marvellous temperament.
Rosedale Doodles specialises in breeding F1 Cockapoos. These are characterised by their silky/wavy fleece coat, which requires regular grooming. F1 Cockapoos are a low to no-odour breed, with low to non-shedding coats. Reaching a miniature height of up to 16 inches, F1 Cockapoos have medium to high energy levels and require regular training and exercise.
After conducting extensive research, Rosedale Doodles started breeding F1B Cockapoos and has had fantastic feedback regarding the variation’s low-shedding coat, which is a curly fleece. Like the F1 Cockapoo, the F1B Cockapoo requires regular grooming. Also low to non-odour, the F1B Cockapoo coat is virtually non-shedding and hypoallergenic. The breed is slightly smaller than the F1 Cockapoo but has the same energy levels, with similar exercise and training requirements.
Cockapoos rank amongst the UK’s most popular dog breeds today. They can have complex markings, spots and freckles on their legs or muzzle, patches over their eyes or cheeks, or come in a single solid colour. Some Cockapoos have a merle coat, with random portions diluted to create a mottled appearance. While some Cockapoos inherit more traits from the Poodle, others exhibit more Cocker Spaniel characteristics, creating variations in their temperament and appearance.
Today, many dog owners are gravitating towards Cockapoos over traditional purebred dogs. Their adaptability makes Cockapoos compatible with a variety of different settings, from a family pet to an agility or therapy dog. Despite their small stature, Cockapoos require a reasonable amount of exercise and mental stimulation. Both of their parent breeds are highly intelligent, making the Cockapoo as bright as a button and raring to go.
